My family and I, with our two underage children, moved to another city in Ukraine because of the war. We are living in summer cottages where we have to heat with firewood. I can't work because there is no one to leave my younger child with; my older child goes to school, in 3rd grade, second shift. We need financial help: I don't work, and the state doesn't pay us IDP assistance because the city is not considered a combat zone, but it is very dangerous to live there with children. The safety of our children comes above all else. In 2025, just before the New Year, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer; in December 2025 I had surgery to remove my thyroid gland. I had the operation in Kyiv, since the endocrinology center is there. Now I have to take hormones for the rest of my life to support my body. We believe there are kind hearts who will not be indifferent to someone else's grief.
