I am Olesia, a 40-year-old mother, with my daughter Yelyzaveta, 15; we are IDPs in Mykolaiv region. I am raising my daughter alone.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, because of massive shelling, my daughter and I were forced to leave my parents' home and move to another city. I lost my job and all means of subsistence. We have now moved to the city of Mykolaiv and live in rented housing. We receive no help from the state other than IDP payments, which are now being discontinued. We don't receive child support from the child's father. The money covers the rent and utility bills. There isn't enough money to buy essential food and hygiene products that are needed every day. Of course I am trying to find a job, grabbing any side work just to survive somehow. Clothes for my child are out of the question altogether, and she is growing. Perhaps there will be an angel for us too, who will help us through this difficult period. The money will go toward food, hygiene products and new clothes for my child.
