I am a single mother. My teenage daughter and I left our home in March 2022 because of the shelling and fighting in our region. We lived in the west of the country, but came back to Mykolaiv because of my elderly parents, who need care and refuse to leave, and because we could not afford to pay rent. Our lives have changed completely. Right now we need help first of all to pay for medicines, because we both have chronic illnesses (my daughter has a pancreatic cyst (cystadenoma), and I have cardiovascular disease and need sclerotherapy).
