We are displaced people from Donbas. In 2014 we were forced to leave our home because of the war. After moving to the Poltava region, we started life from scratch. Our little daughter was born in 2017. And it seemed that life had more or less settled down. But in April 2026 a new misfortune came — I was diagnosed with cancer (stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma). The situation is not very encouraging, but there is hope. The best option is immunotherapy. But my family doesn't have that kind of money. Living in rented housing with a small child, and unable to work because I feel unwell, we survive only on my husband's salary. So far I have been prescribed 2 courses of chemotherapy, because we have no way to raise the money for immunotherapy. All that is left is to hope that it will help and give me a chance at life.
