We started Yan's rehabilitation from the very moment he was born. It's daily sessions at home, and trips to other cities for rehab courses by train + bus + metro. Along with that, a whole load of epilepsy medicines that Yan takes every day. He cannot live without them. We really want to bring him up to the level of a more or less typical child. It costs a lot of money; unfortunately, we are unable to give him as much as he really needs, because the main expenses go on medicine and special food — Yan is allergic to lactose and gluten. My bedridden mother also lives with us, and she needs medicine too. So Yan has sessions only when we have enough money to travel to Kyiv or to pay a specialist to come to our home.
