Kremenchuk, Ukraine

71 y. o.

Our home is destroyed; when we left, we couldn't take the things we needed. We have many illnesses, medicine is expensive, and the pension is small.

We are pensioners. We left Kherson region with two suitcases and with our 95-year-old bedridden father, who has since died here. We now live in a dormitory. We do not have all the things we need. We have many illnesses and cannot buy all the medicines we need. After we left, our house was destroyed; the town is on the front line. In our old age we have been left with nothing; we have no savings, and our pension is small. Things are hard financially; there is not enough money for proper food, medicines and clothes.
